What is emotional association & why is it important?
Emotions often refer to sensations, feelings, and psychological state that are not under our control. They become associated with objects, things, places, time periods, and scents. These associations are often created from personal experiences or memories, and they shape how we perceive the world and interact with it. In other words, they are seen as direct and immediate result of our involvement and interaction with the world.
The Power of Emotions
The power of emotions is profound, influencing our thoughts, actions, and even our physical well-being. Emotions act as a guiding force in our lives, shaping our decisions, relationships, health, and overall sense of purpose and fulfillment. Emotions exert their powerful influence on our lives in several aspects such as:
Driving decision-making behaviors
Enhancing memories and learning
Impacting physical health
Shaping relationships and social connections
Fuelling motivation and resilience
Inspiring creativity and expression
Therefore, emotions are a primary motivator behind the choices we make. When we feel excited or inspired, we are more likely to pursue ambitious goals, take risks, and embrace new opportunities. Conversely, fear or anxiety might hold us back from taking risks, leading us to seek safety overgrowth.
The Emotional Associations to Scents
The olfactory system has a direct link to the limbic system in the brain, which governs emotions, memories, and behaviours. Unlike other senses that pass through complex neural pathways, scents directly stimulate the amygdala and hippocampus, making them potent for creating strong, subconscious associations. This is why certain scents, like a favourite perfume scent can instantly trigger emotions or memories.
Every time the scent is experienced, it reinforces the emotional and mental state tied to that goal. For example, if someone wants to attract confidence, they might choose a scent like citrus or sandalwood, which are often associated with feelings of clarity and self-assurance. Over time, the mind begins to connect this scent with the state of confidence, making it easier to embody this vibration consistently.
Although, since our emotional response is governed by association, one person might find a scent that is powerful and heady for them, is over-powering and nauseating for the other person. Hence, it’s also important to understand your own needs and preferences before choosing a scent to be associated with. Scents known as one of the strongest senses that are linked to our emotions. By simply sensing any particular scent, an emotion is often evoked.
The Power of Manifesting Through Scents
Manifesting through scents lies in the profound connection between the sense of smell, emotions, and the subconscious mind. Scents can directly influence our thoughts, feelings, and energy, making them powerful tools for focusing intentions and aligning with desired outcomes. It can enhance manifestations in various ways, such as:
Focus and clarity
Emotional alignment
Repetition and conditioning
According to law of attraction and law of resonance, we manifest what we energetically align with. Scents influence our vibrational state by inducing emotions that resonate with the desired outcome. You can use scents to create a sensory experience that connects to your thoughts and emotions when visualizing. One of the techniques to manifest through scents is by creating daily rituals.
If you are currently having a manifestation ritual, you can include scent-work to your routine. Scents can be a powerful tool to help you with the association of what you’re manifesting with your thoughts and emotional state. According to the law of resonance, it suggests that the frequency of our thoughts and emotions has a magnetic quality to attract similar energies from the external world; it is from the inside out.
By using scents as one of your manifesting tools, you can alter your thoughts and emotions so they will vibrate to the frequency of what you currently working on with scents association. Each scent has its own vibration that will influence your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours; for examples:
To manifest peace and relaxation: use use our Clear Quartz scent, Mojito scent, Smoky Quartz scent, and The Hermit scent.
To manifest self-love and to unlock your feminine power, you may use The High Priestess scent, Strength scent, Mahendradatta series scents, Prajnaparamita scent, and Sri Maha scent.

To manifest a deeper connection to your higher self in spirituality: use these magical scents: Banaspati Raja scent series, The Hierophant scent, The Moon scent, any incense sticks from Sandikala incense collection, and Mythology scent.
How to Include Scents on Your Daily Manifesting Ritual
By connecting to your thoughts and emotions, you can also access your subconscious mind to amplify your manifestation process. It is very important to access your subconscious mind so you can connect to your most authentic desires. In this phase, you can focus on mastering your mindset, skillset, and soul-set to create a powerful visioning.
It is important to note that since the very first step of your manifestation process is to access your deepest desires, the connection to your higher self is most needed. We would recommend to use scents that are associated to spirituality so you can manifest a deeper connection to higher self. Once you’ve already known your deepest desires, you can start using other scents based on what you want to manifest during your visualization. Whether it’s true love, success, or a peaceful life.
